Sundance Energy Corporation is a Calgary, Alberta (Canada) based exploration company whose primary focus is on the development of its conventional light crude oil projects in the province of Saskatchewan.
The Company has strategically assembled the rights to approximately 70,000 net acres of First Nations land in Alberta & Saskatchewan and has the ability to earn an additional 100,000 net acres that may be prospective for oil production from the Bakken, Torquay, Second White Specks and Shaunavon formations.
Sundance has obtained an exclusive license for access to a significant amount of multi-component 2D and 3D seismic data on the First Nations lands.
The Company also has between an 8.75% to 25% ownership in 11 sections of land in the Samson Area of Alberta with 5 shut-in gas wells and with a minimum of 30 oil and gas drilling locations. Sundance also owns a 63 square mile 3D seismic survey on the Samson lands.
Our corporate philosophy is to establish mutually beneficial First Nations relationships built on fairness, respect, and a "leader to leader" management style. Sundance's management has successfully implemented this approach in numerous business transactions with First Nations in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
